Sivaro was founded in 2021 in Queens, New York and led by a Sri-Lankan immigrant family.
This did not start with a marketing plan.
This didn't start with a marketing plan. It started with crates of nuts and dried fruit in a home kitchen, a personal trainer who couldn't find a snack with a label he trusted, and a family who knew exactly how these flavors were supposed to taste. The za'atar, the curry leaves, the toasted coconut, brought those out the way they're meant to be. Batch after batch, until each one was right. That's still how we make it.
If it doesn't belong in a home kitchen, it doesn't go in the bag.
We roast our nuts in real maple syrup from small upstate New York farms instead of seed oil. We name every spice. We keep the fruit lists short. The label is the whole pitch, so we make sure it reads well.

Everything bagel from the corner shop. Za'atar from the block's groceries. Curry leaf from our own kitchen. Queens is the flavor map, and we cook from it.

Most snacks compete on how cheap they can be made. We went the other way. Every batch is small. The nuts are roasted slowly in real New York maple syrup from farms we can name, never in seed oils. No dyes to fake the color, no "natural flavors" hiding what's really inside. What you taste is the ingredient itself, brought out by hand, not covered up
